Half Lizalfos, half Zola, the Lizola are naturally aquatic creatures with features both reptilian and fish-like. Lizola make up for their lack of resilience by being equally at home in the water or on land.
Able to stay underwater for large periods of time, and being excellent swimmers has led to an affinity with the Daira, who are also at home in the swampy rivers that the Lizola prefer.
When fighting alongside Daira, the two often fight in mixed units with the smaller Lizola acting as a missle screen for their larger and less intelligent allies.
