Death is the creature that appeared after an experiment went wrong in northern Hyrule, it is sealed in an unknown person to this day. And a major plot point in The Legend of Zelda: Hyrulian Chronicles, and is the only being known to challenge the Goddess Hylia and to almost win.
Personality[]
According to reports on the Battle of the Moonlight Bridge Battle, Death is very cunning and is able to trick people, but he held great respect for Lucas Belforma for facing him in combat.
Design[]
Death's true form isn't unknown but his form appears to those who imagine what death looks like, simular to Demise from Skyward Sword, when he posseses his host or the host taps into Death's powers the host will take on some traits from Death.
Plot[]
Seven years before the start of the story, An unknown experiment was conducted in the Northern regions of Hyrule. After it was attacked death escaped the Reseach Lab and headed south towards Central Hyrule, after a while of wondering around it met an unknown man from the Southern Gerudo Desert and latched itself onto this man and traveled to Central Hyrule.
After it detached itself from this man it attacked the city causing destruction all over the western part of Central Hyrule, until A knight of Hyrule known as Lucas Belforma battled the monster on the Moonlight Bridge and could only contain it for a small time, before sealing it into his young grandson P.J. Belforma.
Later on Death was put in a dormant state while inside of the young Jessie, only awakening while the young boy was in danger or he broke the mental barrier put up by Jonathan Belforma, the first time the young Belforma came into contact with Death is when P.J. met him in the Nexus of the Mind where Death dwells inside the mind of it's host and the two started to talk while Death was planning to kill his host from the inside but realized that P.J. could be the only way to change his opinion on the Human race.
Death first made his presence known in The Legend of Zelda: Hyrulian Chronicles ~The First Strike~, where he possesses P.J. Belforma to fight three Gerudo Slave traders and slaughters them in 'Pre-Coffin mode'.

Trivia[]
- The Person who Death latched itself onto might be Ganondorf, this would cause his desent into madness later on in the story.
- Death does have a human form, this form was revealed to Lucas Belforma when he fought the monster.
- Even though Death does have a Scythe, Death has a shadow version of the fabled Mirror Sword
